Celebrating local Zambian talent

Last week we celebrated Amanda Wamunyima who was crowned Miss America 2016. This week we change themes to take a look at Chibale aka @Inkerblood, a very talented ink extraordinaire. Chibale’s artwork is in a comic book style and some of his more prolific work includes his Inktober series in which he posts artwork everyday for the month of October, and the popular weekly issue of the Mundane Kid — Zambia’s resident superhero/imaginative juvenile. (The Mundane Kid is co-produced by @Benny_blow. You might remember their Blue and White Chronicles comic strip we featured a few years ago.)

We’re coming up to the month of October. So keep an eye out on Inkerblood’s website http://inkerblood.tumblr.com/ for this year’s Inktober. If you’re in need of a communication expressed in a comic book style make sure to contact Chibale through https://twitter.com/inkerblood.
