Last month, we completely redesigned thebestofzambia.com to better showcase the information people need from businesses in Zambia. This new platform has allowed us to change the way we work on the thebestofzambia.com. We’ll be making small incremental improvements often, rather than one major redesign every few years. Following that mantra, today we’re excited to announce three new features.

Site search
It’s now possible to search thebestofzambia.com for business names e.g. ‘Mazhandu’ and types of businesses e.g. ‘Hotels’. We’re really happy to introduce search has it has been by far the most requested feature since the new design launch. Facebook posts on company profile pages
We now show a businesses latest Facebook and Twitter posts on their profile page. This reinforces our plan for company profile pages to be the best place to find an overview of a business and its latest information. Richer home page design
We’ve made our home page a richer and more dynamic viewing experience. We’ve started showing off the latest businesses to be listed on The Best of Zambia and we’re now using a scrolling slideshow to capture the depth of businesses Zambia has to offer.
Whats next?
We have many plans for thebestofzambia.com and over the next few weeks we’ll be working on two major new sections: Offers and Events. The offers section will be a place people can find all the latest special offers, deals and discounts from businesses in Zambia and the events section will list the latest and upcoming events happening in Zambia.
